Felt like a takeaway and used the website to reserve a collection time and pay online. Dead simple. Large cod and chips now costs £15.90 but a generous portion and the batter no longer leaves a flavour which comes back later. Throughly enjoyed my supper and some leftover chips will be recycled today!

Had to leave a review for this really lovely experience. We popped in after a late afternoon trip to the beach after seeing their sign (which was facing the wrong way so we had a picturesque detour) craving some fish and chips. It was buzzing and the regulars were so friendly, making recommendations. Was surprised by the varied menu. Donating to a clean water fund if you get tap water was a nice touch. Rob who served us was SO nice and personable. So was the owner - they were very busy with take aways and he made apologies for a wait we barely noticed. Food was great British classics and an insane range of sponges.

We ate in the restaurant. The service was excellent with happy, friendly staff. The fish and chips were amazing because everything was perfectly cooked with no grease. The mushy peas were spot on, too. They have a specials board, so we had the haddock and the plaice that was caught freshly in Brixham that morning. The batter had a great flavour and was perfectly crunchy. They have a kids menu with smaller meals like chicken nuggets and chips. There is a good selection of soft drinks and they also have local beers for sale. If you're still hungry after your main course (you won't be) there's a dessert menu and you can get coffee in cafetieres. I highly recommend trying this restaurant.

Ordered takeaway via the website for collection at 18.40. Stood on the pavement with others as orders are passed through a hatch. At precisely 18.40 my name was called and a minute later I was on my way with the order securely wrapped and bagged. Excellent pasty and chips, and my wife enjoyed her cheesy chips. Recommended
